Today’s post is the 7th story of healing for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Remember, everyone’s journey is different. This is meant to let people know that healing does happen and to identify all the different ways and all the different areas that your life can grow and change.

Hi My Name is Healed
Hi my name is Healed, yes that’s right!
That is just one of the many names I choose to answers to.
Not Victim, Not Destroyed, and Not Broken, but Healed!
You see once I came into the realization of who I am and whose I am, I decided to live up to the name.
Yes I was a child when I was molested, a Victim.
Yes I was confused and scared, Broken.
Yes I had issues trusting others, Destroyed.
But once I learned that “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds”, I decided to move forward.
I decided not to allow my feelings and emotions about my past to dictate my present and future.
Through prayer and studying the bible I realized that the fight to be free from the pain was not my battle, but God’s.
Jesus is my only saving grace!
I could not have moved forward without His love and personal attention given to my very being.
I am that I am because He first loved me.
I am Healed!
