As I share this with you today, I remember what it felt like to be in that place of discomfort.
A place where the feelings of hopelessness, isolation, or fear make you believe there is only one viable option to make the feelings stop.
Fortunately, through healing, I haven’t felt it in a very long time.
Though I know there are many of you out there who have felt it too… maybe continue to feel it.
If you can relate to this, please know you are not alone. ❤️
If you know someone who has felt like this, please know that you don’t have to do anything to fix it. Your mindful presence can make all the difference.
In this video, I share thoughts on how we can, as individuals, help reduce fear and shame for those (you?) in being honest, first with ourselves, then others when we’re struggling so we can create relationships and communities where people don’t struggle in silence and isolation.
We, as individuals, have the power to create a culture where, no matter the mask someone has worn, they can feel safe and free to acknowledge they're not ok.
This is true for the many masks we, ourselves, have worn too. We all deserve to feel safe and free. ❤️
