I'm Peggy, a survivor of childhood trauma, mentor, (former) trauma therapist, author, and space holder for survivors of childhood trauma.

One thing I’ve seen over and over, in myself and the people I work with, is how easy it is to stay disconnected from what we’re really feeling, especially when survival has been the priority for so long.  

We get so used to holding it all together, pushing through, or putting others first… that we forget to check in with ourselves. Or we don’t feel safe enough to.  

But real healing asks us to slow down. To be honest with ourselves.
To make space for the things we’ve been carrying, even the parts we’ve avoided or silenced.  

This is the space this journal was made to hold.  

Not as another thing to “get right,” but as a space to return to yourself.
