If you've been a part of my community for a while, you know that I'm an advocate for the practice of meditation. But you might be wondering, "How does meditation really help my healing process?"
The definition of meditation may vary depending on who you ask, but at its core, it's purely about being in the present moment.
In today's episode, I address some of the obstacles or challenges in meditating, different types of meditations, and how and why it helps in your healing journey.
It's important to remember that while meditation can be a powerful tool for healing from childhood trauma, it is one of many tools and experiences important along the journey.
If you want to explore guided meditations, Jon Kabat-Zinn is a great resource.
I also have few meditation resources available including a FREE short meditation that you can get here: https://courageousjourneys.com/f/letting-go-meditation
And here’s the link to my meditation album with over 90 mins of guided meditation: https://courageousjourneys.com/courses/connecting-within-meditations
